In 1966, Director of Admissions at the College of the Holy Cross, Ambrose J. Mahoney S.J., lined up five St. Sebastian’s graduates from the Class of 1966 on the steep stairs in front of Fenwick Hall.

From left to right: John F. Connolly Jr., Richard W. Scully, Stephen J. McDonough, Michael A. Kelly, and John F. Foley.

It reads:

I am enclosing a photograph of your 1966 graduates who are now freshmen at Holy Cross. The picture was taken during our Orientation Program.

The young men have already become an integral part of the College and I hope that some of your outstanding 1967 graduates are interested in doing the same.

Thanking you for your cooperation in the past, I am

Sincerely yours,

Rev. Ambrose J. Mahoney, S.J.
